Terms of service
Last revised: 8 August 2026
The rules for using WhereUBro. They are written to be read: if something is unclear, write to admin@whereubro.com and we will explain it.
Acceptance
By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use it.
What the service is
WhereUBro shares your location on request: someone in one of your circles asks where you are, your phone answers with a single reading and the GPS switches off. There is no continuous broadcasting and no history of your movements. You can choose how much detail each person gets, whether your phone answers on its own, and whether you want to know each time someone asks.
Today the service is free and there are no paid features. If there ever were, it would be announced beforehand, and it would never turn something you already used for free into something you had to pay for.
Your account
You sign in with Google or Apple; no password is stored here. The account is personal: whoever holds it answers for what is done from it. You must give truthful details and keep your access safe.
You must be at least 14 to sign up.
What you may not do
This service exists so that people can share where they are because they want to. The following is prohibited, and grounds for closing the account immediately:
- Using it to watch, control or harass someone; in particular, installing or configuring it on another person's phone without their knowledge and freely given consent.
- Pressuring someone into sharing their location, or into sharing it in more detail than they want to.
- Creating an account in someone else's name, or for a child under 14.
- Trying to reach data belonging to someone who has not given you permission, probing the service for flaws, or making automated use of it that degrades it.
These rules are not decorative, and the service is built to enforce them: whoever locates you is always recorded in your activity, and that record cannot be turned off or deleted. If someone is locating you and you would rather they did not, you can cut off their access instantly without leaving the group or telling them.
Availability and accuracy
The service is provided as is and as available. There is no guarantee that it will always be up, nor that an answer will arrive, nor how long it will take, nor how accurate it will be: all of that depends on the phone's GPS, its signal, its battery and operating system decisions that are beyond our reach. A phone that is off, out of range, or whose app the system itself has stopped will not answer, and from here there is no way to tell that apart from any other case.
This is not an emergency or personal safety service. Do not use it for anything that someone's safety depends on.
Suspension and closing your account
You can delete your account whenever you like, from the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, in particular the prohibitions above; wherever possible, giving notice first and explaining why.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, MoleCorp Esports S.L. is not liable for indirect damage arising from use of the service or from being unable to use it. None of this limits the rights consumer law gives you as a consumer, nor liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change. If a change is significant, you will be told inside the app with reasonable notice; carrying on using the service afterwards means accepting it, and if it does not suit you, you can delete your account.
Law and jurisdiction
Spanish law applies. If you are a consumer, you may go to the courts where you live, and these terms do not stop you.
